This professional drop test was requested by a major oil field service company and was monitored by the RCMP Accident Investigating Squad.

The test would confirm the effectiveness of the Swift Lift Crane model "R" in reducing the chance of injury to parties inside the truck cab.

TOP:
The truck was initially dropped 3.3m (10.8 feet), first coming into contact with the right front corner of the hood, then rolled onto its wheels.

BELOW:
The second drop was made, landing directly onto the roof where the Swift Lift Crane held strong until the forklift returned it to it's upright position.

Police reported that occupants would have survived as long as they were wearing their seat belts.

Truck dropped 10.8 feet WITH the Swift Lift Crane
Truck dropped 10.8 feet WITHOUT the Swift Lift Crane

A final drop was made without the boom of the Swift Lift Crane, which flattened the cab completely, levelling it with the top of the pick up box.

We are confident the Swift Lift Crane "R" will not only save backs, but save lives too.
